Welcome to the Department of Natural Sciences Home Page. We are an interdisciplinary department with majors in a number of science and education degree programs. We offer degrees in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology-Chemistry, and Geology-Geography. In conjunction with the College of Education, Health and Human Services, we also offer degrees in Secondary Education Biology, Secondary Education Science, and Secondary Education Physical Science.

Small class sizes, bright and interested students, and a dedicated faculty provide the ingredients for a quality education for our students.  Students become well-grounded in the basic principles of their chosen discipline(s) and have the opportunity to tailor their studies through upper level courses, internships, and research experiences to prepare themselves for a career or further education at the graduate or professional school level.
